The family is making do. Ronnie gets back from the Pop Eye show, with the family’s meal. They are watching him on television. Then a knock on the door. The television and furniture is taken by the repo men.
But an Angel will see to it that their Christmas isn’t ruined. In the spirit of Christmas, Ronnie’s grandparents teach the children an important lesson. It’s not about presents, it’s about the spirit of caring and sharing and valuing the important things in life, a full stomach and a roof over your head.
Ronnie has the dialogue moving and the enchantment and wonder of his childhood comes alive like a Peter Pan and Tinker Bell shade.
